Cruz & Ortiz Architects
The team of Cruz & Ortiz have made their mark on Spanish architecture. They were responsible for designing new buildings in the old centre of Seville, and they know better than anyone how to make old structures speak a new language. Two determined people who decide everything together, they produce sound work with an eye for detail. Their most recent commission was the Spanish pavilion at Expo 2000 in Hannover. Previously they carried out the redesign of the Maritime Museum in Cadiz. In Amsterdam they were involved in the redevelopment of Java Island.

In addition to Cruz & Ortiz, Van Hoogevest Architects have been chosen as the restoration architects. This firm from Amersfoort has carried out many restoration projects in the Netherlands, including Hilversum town hall, the St. Servatius Church in Maastricht and the Dom in Utrecht. The restoration architects will be responsible to Cruz & Ortiz.
