Frank O. Gehry
I just "punch" a few holes.......
For the launching of Velux International's new "Architect's Lounge" kk was asked to "Talk" to several internationally known architects about the importance of bringing natural light into buildings.
The Frank Gehry "Talk" is the second in the series; the first "Talk" was with Danish architect Henning Larsen.

Frank Gehry's buildings are bold, passionate and full of surprises. The name Frank Gehry makes you think of free-form shapes, tilted angles and skylights popping out of soaring atriums. His buildings, because of his instinct for letting in natural light, always give you a warm, uplifting gesture of welcome.
I talked to Frank Gehry at his house in Santa Monica where windows and skylights, letting in filtered light, are in abundance.
"When you are in a room that's enclosed you think of sky........ how do I get some sky in there?"
kk: How do you do it?
FOG: I don't know what I do , I just "punch" a few holes here and there and..... somehow they end up being in the right place.
I can't say... this is what I was trying to do, and this is what I did.......
