New Stage Tower
The rebuilding of Albertslundhus theater

The rebuilding of the stage tower was based on Henning Larsen's comprehensive plan for Albertslund Town Center.
The tower marks Albertslundhus and forms a natural termination of the center towrds the east. During the day the tower is mirrored in the canal, in the evening it appears as a glowing symbol for the center.
A screen built of cedar strips surrounds the stage tower; the layering of the wooden siding gives the tower a clear and precise form.
