The Georgian Choreographic Centre will be located on a southern slope in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, on the bank of the Mtkvari River.

The design is a modern interpretation of the traditional Georgian architecture where the horizontal lines of the balconies and terraces shade the facades, creating cool areas outside the buildings.
The surrounding slope is laid out as a gradually rising terrace that develops into floating forms in the landscape.

The auditorium, designed as a Georgian courtyard, is surrounded by fan-shaped balconies, with seating on three sides.
Outside the theater the fan folds to become part of the slope, then unfolds again as the terraces rise above the community room.
The dance studios float above the foyer turning the site into a landscape of grottoes, terraces, and staircases.
