Scandinavian Tower
Malmø, Sweden

The Scandinavian Tower, planned as a hotel, apartment, and office building for both Malmø and Copenhagen, will be a destination in its own right. Good connections to the new Øresund Bridge over the straits and the City Tunnel will make this a natural meeting point in Scandinavia.
The central location, 3 kilometers south of central Malmø (the third largest city in Sweden), and the proximity to Kastrup Airport and Copenhagen makes the project unique.

The 85 story tower leans outward at the top and increases in diameter, instead of getting narrow and thinner in the conventional way. This gives the building a feminine demeanor and a distinct bearing to the north. The soon to be tallest building in Europe was nicknamed ''The Boot leg'' when the Swedish Government gave the ''go ahead'' in the early spring.
The Scandinavian Tower will contain , 700 hotel rooms that will include 50 small suites, 50 large suites, and four Royal Suites. Also in the plans are 10 floors housing 50 apartments, and 10 floors of office space. There will be a viewing gallery, restaurant, bar, and meeting rooms at the top.

Conference
The conference section will offer facilities for arranging meetings of 3 4,000 people. Varying styles and quality will be combined with an excellent level of high technology. The trademark will be Scandinavian Forum.
A casino and nightclub are also in the planning because gambling in Malmø is expected to be legal in the near future.

ABexpo
At ground level there will be a small village designed to emulate the distinctive ambiance found in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway; restaurants and shops will reflect what is special to Scandinavian life.
Between the building and a bordering park there are plans for one of the largest adventure swimming pools in Sweden (Aqua Adventure Palace). The facility will be open to both hotel guests and the public.
Another goal is to establish an attraction under the name of Scandinavian Expo, a permanent Scandinavian exhibition.
The Scandinavian Tower will enrich Malmø and draw attention to the fact that this is the geographical midpoint of Europe.
