The first Guide to Icelandic Architecture published by The Association of Icelandic Architects was released on May 19th. The 250 works of architecture covered in the guide were selected for their architectural merit as well as their historical importance.
The main focus is on buildings in Reykjavik.

The Asmundur Sveinnsson Sculpture Museum was both a studio and residence for the artist who designed and built most of it by himself between 1942 - 1950.
