Light and Life
A portrait of Henning Larsen
By Henrik Sten Møller

If you want to treat yourself I suggest you buy the book about Danish architect Henning Larsen.
The book, "Light and Life" Henning Larsen, the man and the architect, is beautifully written by journalist and architecture critic Henrik Sten Møller.

Following is a quote from Henrik Sten Møller’s preface.
"Henning Larsen endows architecture with a light and a life and a spatial dimension which we have probably always longed for, although we do not actually realize it until we see his buildings standing there before us. He presents us with the poetic truth. The truth of the poet - and the truth of the poet is the only real truth".

No one could say it any better.....

In addition to the writing Jens Lindhe’s photographs expertly capture the lyrical mood in Henning Larsen’s architecture.

An early sketch of the "street", that separates the new addition from the old, in the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek Museum.

The "Street" with the daylight pouring in from above.
