Ulises Diaz

Ulises Diaz is a graduate of the Southern California lnstitute of Architecture (SCI-ARC) and member of ADOBE LA where he is Project Manager of "Cultural Explainers," a project which consists of three large scale Public Works of Art in three communities in Los Angeles. In addition, he is Project Manager for Barrio Action Group, lnc., co-founder of Studio Dos o Tres and Inner City Murals Project along with a group of young graffiti artists from Downtown Los Angeles. He is currently Design Faculty at SCI-ARC and Woodbury University; and advisor for SCIUDAD-Latin American Students of Architecture at SCI-ARC.

Gustavo Leclerc

Gustavo Leclerc is an architect, designer/artist and founding member of ADOBE LA. He is a graduate of the Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico in Architecture and has extensive experience both in designing architectural projects and teaching: Facultad de Arquitectura, Universidad Veracruzana, currently SCI-ARC Design Faculty and faculty advisor for SCIUDAD. In addition he is advisor for the Council of Latin American Students of Architecture (CLEA) at Woodbury University. He has lectured throughout the U.S. on issues of architecture, design, art and cultural criticism.

Alessandra Moctezuma

Alessandra Moctezuma is an artist and founding member of ADOBE LA. Currently she is Project Manager of the Art for Rail Transit program of the Los Angeles MTA. In 1994, she received an MFA from UCLA, and is a recipient of various awards including the UCLA Arts Council Award and the Carlos Almaraz Scholarship. She is a member of Collage Ensemble and has participated in group exhibitions and performances, lectured widely on issues of art, Latino culture and vernacular architecture and produced the videos: "Andale, Andale," "Frida," and "Urban Revisions." Currently Design Faculty at SCI-ARC.

Elpidio Rocha

Elpidio Rocha is an architectural theorist designer, educator and a pioneer in the development of interdisciplinary art/design process. Currently teaching at the University of Oregon at the School of Architecture and Applied Arts and member of ADOBE LA. Former faculty at USC Urban Studies Program, School of Public Administration, Architecture Department, CAL State Polytechnic University Pomona and Kansas City Art Institute. He has lectured extensively in the U.S. on Chicano art, design and architecture.
