GUTHRIE + BURESH ARCHITECTS
In 1988 Danelle Guthrie and Tom J. Buresh established Guthrie + Buresh Architects. Their work to date includes; commercial, single-family residences/additions, interiors, public works projects in the Los Angeles area as well as conceptual and academic work. They have lectured and exhibited their work in the United States and Europe. Danelle Guthrie Danelle Guthrie received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 1981 from University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Architecture in 1985 from University of California, Los Angeles. She is a Licen-sed Architect with nine years of experience working for herself and as a designer for several architectural firms, including Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Franklin D. Israel Design Assoc. She has taught architectural design and drawing in both the Graduate and Undergraduate Programs at the Southern California Institute of Architecture and the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of California Los Angeles. Tom J. Buresh Tom J. Buresh received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 1978 fram Iowa State University, and a Master of Architecture in 1985 from University of California, Los Angeles. He is a Licensed Architect with fifteen years of residential, commercial, and urban design experience with several firms including Frank 0. Gehry & Assoc., Studio Works / Robert Mangurian, Eugene Kupper, Franklin D. Israel, and Hawley & Peterson Architects. In 1985, he exhibited work at the American Institute of Architects National Convention, and in 1986 received a travelling fellowship from the John Dinkeloo Foundation. He has been a full-time member of the faculty in the Graduate Program "at the Southern California Institute of Architecture since 1988. |
