Susan Narduli and Elyse Grinstein

Susan Narduli and Elyse Grinstein merged their firms to create Narduli/Grinstein Architects in 1992 in Venice, California. Susan Narduli leads the firm's design team. She draws on her experience as an artist to guide the conceptual evolution of the firm's work. Elyse Grinstein serves as primary liaison with clients, governmental agencies and community groups. Her career is highlighted by her many distinctions and appointments to civic, academic and museum commissions. Their recent commissions include: the Santa Monica Museum of Art, the winning proposal to design the restaurants within the terminals of Los Angeles International Airport, the conceptual and architectural development of the Bergamot Station Performing Arts Complex and the redesign of the eartquake damaged California Institute of the Arts (CALArts) campus for which they won the 1995 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Honor Award.
