Jonathan Becker, contributing photographer to Vanity Fair, has been documenting Kolonihaven since the inauguration of the Architecture Park in 1996 when Copenhagen was Cultural Capital of Europe.
He joined the architects at the Kolonihaven exhibitions and festivities in subsequent Cultural Capital cities: Stockholm, in 1998, and Reykjavik, in 2000. To certain acclaim at the Reykjavik Art Museum, a large gallery was devoted to Jonathan Beckerâs portraits of the architects and their projects.

In 2002, Harry N. Abrams published Jonathan Becker's third book, "Studios by the Sea" (Artists of Long Island's East End) with text by Bob Colacello.
