Southern California architecture was first known outside the state largely due to Shulman's industry. Now the wind blows to the West.
Voted an honorary fellow by the AIA and recipient of its gold medal for architectural photography, Shulman enjoys the international esteem of a new generation eager for images of the past to inform present and future. In capturing the vision of so many others, Shulman's eye has ultimately defined his own vision, which remains as keen and singular as the man himself.
