The Diner
From Boston to LA

Fern's Diner, Route 22, Ono, PA.
This is the Vestibule to a mid-1940's Silk City Diner manufactured by Paterson vehicle Co., Paterson, New Jersey. Clearly the ultimate in quilted stainless steel work, this was done independently in a steel shop. Otherwise all stainless steel was traditionally bent in the shop of the Dining Car manufacturer.
