Rising dramatically above Mexico City’s Paseo de la Reforma, Torre Reforma appears as if a precisely cut diamond were planted in the heart of the city. A striking, slender triangular form designed by LBR&A Arquitectos, Torre Reforma is the tallest building in Mexico City at 57 stories.

Dominique Perrault
Vienna, Austria

French superstar architect Dominique Perrault is the man behind Vienna’s new landmark showcasing Perrault’s trademark use of big shapes and simple geometry. Named DC Tower 1 due to it’s location in Danube City and its status as one of a pair (the twin building remains on the drawing board) the building reaches a height of 250 meters and 60 floors making it the tallest skyscraper in Austria and a sign of Vienna's increasingly desperate ambition to re-shape Danube City.

The new De Rotterdam Tower by OMA creates a city-within-a-city in Rotterdam whilst at the same time referring back to Rem Koolhaas’ early analysis of New York and Bigness. Unintentionally it also proves that what works in Manhattan may not automatically work in the Netherland’s second city.
