The CO2-neutral hall is built exclusively from sustainable materials, and by following certain economic principles, it provides a high variety of sports facilities to the area at a fifth of the price.

The Urban Hospice

The notion that architecture can have a positive and therapeutic effect on palliative patients is the central ambition of NORD Architect’s recently completed hospice in central Copenhagen. The design sensitively negotiates its dense urban context with a need for spaces of calm, tranquility and positivity, and the resulting Urban Hospice is an uplifting example of the value that thoughtful and considered architecture can bring to both the city and its inhabitants.
