The Guardian Towers comprises two sites, a residential tower and an office tower, joined by a shared retail and services podium. The dual-tower complex, part of the Danet Abu Dhabi development in Abu Dhabi, is serviced by three levels of underground car parking.
The winning design by Lab architecture studio, located on the most important business road in central Riyadh, is a collection of angled and interlocking singular towers which together form a dramatic architectural image.
The SOHO Shang Du project, located within Beijing's CBD (central business district) special development area, has a large frontage on Dongdaqiao Lu, an important north-south arterial street, which defines the western edge of the central business district zone as well as the eastern boundary of the central diplomatic zone. A bridge connects the two sides of the development.
Federation Square, the new civic precinct in the heart of Melbourne, was the winning project in an international design competition and Lab architecture studio's first realised buildings.
