Helsinki, Finland

Download images of the Aalto House, built in 1934 by one of the masters of Scandinavian modernism, Alvar Aalto. Situated in Munkkiniemi in the outskirts of Helsinki, the house served as both home and office for the architect and his wife. The design, understated, intimate and precise, is loaded with superb details.
