The Kolonihavehus is a cylinder surrounded by columns. A simple house with too many columns that makes it look like a monument. This is very much what all the existing Kolonihavehuse look like, with people adding and adding over the years.
I gave my house a copper roof because I always think of Copenhagen as a city of copper roofs. It is an enormous challenge to design a building that is small in size without making it small in scale.
Inside I have placed a love seat in the middle so that two people can be together when they feel like it, and a chair at either end for when they want to be alone.
