Shelters will no longer be static objects but dynamic objects sheltering and enhancing human events. Accomodations will be responsive, ever-changing and ever-adjusting housed in continuous, varied and fluid structures. The concept is a prototype design for an adaptive, relocatable short-stay living enclosure utilising a simple lightweight architectural form. The building is designed to be able to adapt to any site condition and when located, further adapt to the site's continually changing daily and seasonal characteristics whilst registering the individual's needs. The design gives the occupant the freedom to manually reorientate the structure to attain the most favourable view, gain additional sunlight, achieve protection from excessive solar gain, take advantage of a prevailing wind or attain privacy at a certain time of day. The image is a self-supporting, multi-directional building that potentially could change from hour to hour, from day to night.
