The project KOLONIHAVEN - The International Challenge, could never have become a reality without the support of many people and institutions.

First I would like to thank the participating architects who not only contributed so many brilliantly imaginative designs, but never failed to respond when I asked for more than they expected.

Secondly I want to thank the many sponsors from the building construction industry; without their materials construction could never have started.

I also want to thank Copenhagen Cultural Capital '96, The Municipality of Vallensbæk, The County of Copenhagen, The Danish Ministry of Culture, Kulturfonden, Margot and Thorvald Dreyer Fond and the many Danish partners whose help was indispendable in creating the architecture park and the travelling exhibition.

A very special thank you to Arken, Museum of Modern Art, for making the first venue such a special event and to Stockholm Cultural Capital '98 and Arkitekturmuseet for inviting the travelling exhibition to Stockholm and for contributing three full scale houses to the Architecture Park Kolonihaven.

Finally, because of the generosity of Reykjavik Cultural Capital '2000 and Reykjavik Art Museum, the old Nordic tradition "The little house and garden" will continue into the 21st Century.

To all of the above, my deepest appreciation.
