La Pedrera

In Barcelona we stayed in the heart of the Quadrat d’Or, an area famed for modernisme; Catalonia’s exuberant brand of Art Nouveau. The Hotel Condes de Barcelona, in two magnificent former palaces; Casa J. Daurella (1872) and Casa E. Batlló (1895), is situated on a corner facing Gaudi’s La Pedrera
