It is August and we, like most of you, have to take a rest! To keep you in the habit of visiting arcspace we will have constant short "Summer News" i.e. when I see something I think will interest you I will tell you about it..........
I will be on the road from early August; starting with the installation of the FOG exhibition in Seattle, then LA and maybe Mexico .....
I am starting out on a one-way ticket .......
I can go wherever I want to go...........
Have been thinking of visiting and telling you about my old friend David Greenberg's compounds "Tree Houses" in Hawaii; a "must" for 21st Century neo-jet-age-nomads looking for a nature/spiritual fix.
David's new place in the South China Seas has just opened and busy David has now found a new site by a lagoon and Beach in Hue near Danang in Vietnam.
arcspace is producing the catalog for the Frank O. Gehry "The Architect's Studio" exhibition at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle. If you are interested in the work of Frank Gehry, the catalog is about FOG's creative process. In addition to the many sketches and models there is an enclosed digital catalog with complete texts and large color images.

P.S. In the Architect's Studio we are visiting the last Sweitzer BIM restaurant....I will be eating in all of them on my trip!
