Membership is growing, the cubes are filling up, and we have a new lounge where we are showing videos.
The current video, a conversation between Frank Gehry and CEO of the Danish Architecture Center (DAC) Kent Martinussen, is from the exhibition DIGITAL PROJECT Frank Gehry’s Vision.

Our new arcPod, designed by Cube3 and engineered by Burke Prefect, is a multimode vehicle that can be used to tour arcspace island and the rest of Second Life. As your total personal transport for the metaverse, the arcPod can be driven on the land, flown in the air, and sailed on the waters of Second Life.
The arcPod has been designed to be very easy to use, and to provide an excellent touring platform for exploring Second Life much faster, higher, and easier than on foot or using basic avatar flight.

We are preparing for Theory Shaw and Keystone Bouchard’s next Wikitecture experiment which is a collaborating on a design for the Open Architecture Challenge; the brainchild of Architecture for Humanity.
Keystone Bouchard has outlined the large parcel at arcspace where the building will take place.
All arcspaceSL members are welcome to join the project.

The aim of the international design competition is to develop not one but many solutions for building sustainable, multi-purpose, low-cost technology facilities for those who need them most.
Three community partners have been selected to participate in this year's Challenge. Each site poses a unique set of design constraints and opportunities. While the needs of each client are unique, the hurdles they face in embracing technology to offer access to education, healthcare and the global marketplace are shared by millions of people in communities all over the world.
