7 Spectacular Pools to Cool Off In

If the summer is going to be as hot as we all hope it will be, you're going to need some cooling off. We've found a select few pools that will leave you chilled and stunned.

If you want to experience structural extravagance, you should go for the incredible EFTE cushion-clad Olympic swimming stadium in Beijing - now transformed into a lavishly huge water amusement park. Or the mind-boggling infinity pool on the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

If you prefer something sligthly less grand, you should seek out the tranquil pool of Kengo Kuma's Opposite House or Sadar Vuga's urban resort in Ljubljana.

Finally, if you're in the mood for something more natural, then Siza's Leça Swimming Pools carved into the seaside rocks of Porto is a good bet - as is PLOT's Copenhagen Harbour Bath. Enjoy your swim!
